Our goal at Walton Mountain K-9 Camp is to make your dog's experience as enjoyable as possible.
They deserve their own vacation at camp!! After all "ITS ALL ABOUT THE DOGS"
We provide a fun and comfortable atmosphere for our K-9 guests. Just a few of our amenities include:
ABOUT OUR CAMP:
You will notice on your visit to Walton Mountain K-9 Camp that we are not a kennel...and so will your
dog(s). Camp dogs are well exercised, happy and on a schedule. To help your dog(s) adjust on the first
stay at camp, we will keep him/her in one of the lounge rooms for at least an hour to get them accustomed
to us and camp. Then they will join the regular camp schedule.
We understand that boarding your dog(s) is like trusting us with your children. We will make sure that all
dogs that stay with us here at camp have a good time, and are cared for like our own. Please don't let other
experiences you may have had effect your feelings about boarding your dog(s) with us...you will get the
pictures to see for yourself all the good times your dog(s) have had at camp. We are very proud of the way
we run our camp and nothing makes us happier than the joy we see in the dogs on their second visit. Dogs
dragging whoever is at the other end of the leash to the door, or how all the dogs go on their own to their
sleeping rooms after playtime and stand in the doorway waiting for their biscuit .... never having to be
forced. (except for Buddy- that wouldn't get out of the pool, look for that picture in our photos!) We know
we are doing something right when people tell us that they can't even say the word "camp" because their
dogs get so excited.
Dogs live in the day....and we will make everyday they spend at camp- HAPPY !!!!

INCLUDED IN BOARDING FEE:
At camp dogs are provided with 3 play yard visits a day and 2 nature walks.
If requested we allow play mates. -Dogs are evaluated, and matched according to personality, age, and
activity level. All play groups are supervised.
Dogs visit the "lounge rooms" to enjoy movies. (this helps the dogs feel at home)
Dogs are fed their own food.
We provide Blankets and bedding (changed daily)
We supply food dishes ( changed daily)
You may check in to see how your dogs are doing by email.
Owners receive picture album of their dog's first stay to see their fun-filled time at camp!
Camp dog albums are sent out via email.
NOTE :If you have not received an email with pictures on the Monday after check out, please email us
requesting them....sometimes I can not read the email addresses.
*Camp hours*
All campers must check in at office
during check in hours.
Please email us to make or request reservations, we can get and answer emails at anytime via cell phone,
we receive 20-30 phone messages a day and do not always have time to return all calls daily.

Camp dog's schedule: ( SPRING AND SUMMER )
Movies:
8am to 10am- potty time / play yard visits / AM feeding/ kennel cleaning lady and the tramp
10am to 12pm - 1st nature walks (weather permitting) Balto/Windixie
12pm to 3pm- nap time (all dogs are put in sleeping rooms) 101 dalmatians/Good boy
3pm to 5pm- 2nd nature walks (weather permitting) Milo and Otis/Bolt
5pm to 6pm - play yard / PM feeding/ kennel cleaning Shilo/ Fire dog
7pm to 9pm- lounge rooms (movie time) All dogs go to heaven
9pm to 10pm- last potty time Benji / Super Dog
10pm- bed time (all dogs are put in sleeping rooms) Dr. Dolittle/ Babe
If nature walks are rained out, all dogs will have indoor playtime. Fox and The Hound
My dog skip/ hotel for dogs
Times may vary with the amount of dogs we have at camp.
If We do not have camp dogs, we may not be at the camp during all business hrs

Events
- Guest “cabins” are designed of wood walls and tile floors.
- individual and double dog sleeping rooms
- Play yards are grass and mulch -not concrete or rock.
- Large indoor play area and 2 lounges rooms with TV.
- Lighting is kept dim for calming.
- Central heat and air / regulated temp.
- Calming classical music
- A full day of camp activities
- Nap time from 12- 3pm
- Camp fires w/ doggie s'mores ( spring & Fall )
- Doggie pools in all play yards (spring & Summer)
- We feed your food (no upset stomachs)
- Entire camp is monitored at night by intercom system *Web- cams coming soon
